In the area, so I was looking for someplace good to eat. This restaurant came up at the top of the list on Yelp when searching for restaurants in Palm Springs. There are seats at the bar, but all the tables are outside patio seating. Cool vibe. The Margarita flight was so good. Really strong, in terms of alcohol. Can't tell you which one was my favorite. All four were delicious. The Arco iris salad is as delicious as it looks. Beautiful presentation, and healthy ingredients. The dressing was a light vinaigrette. The waitress recommended the churro ice cream sandwich. So tasty. Large enough for two to share. The churros were hot, soft, and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because my meal was delivered before my drinks. When I looked around, it looked like everyone else was getting their drinks before their meals.

My wife and I made a quick overnight stop in Palm Springs to break up our weekend trip to California. We wanted to eat somewhere nice after a long drive from Phoenix. My wife found this place on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. It's a pretty small place and most of the seating is outside. However they had plenty of heaters to keep us comfortable. Service was fast and friendly. We started with some of their craft cocktails and they were Devine. The Squash Blossoms were delicious and not something that you find on a lot of menus. The green sauce was fantastic with them and a must try. The carne asada tacos were so tender and flavorful. However it was the churro ice cream sandwich that stole the show. The ice cream tasted homemade and the crispy churro paired so well with it. I would come back just for that desert! This place is fantastic and definitely worth a try!

This restaurant is amazing! The outdoor patio is relaxing with plants and flowers everywhere. We had the short rib empanadas that were perfection and delicious. The squash flowers were delicate with two dabs of sauces to drag them through each bite. The raw oysters were served in an extremely cold wok pan. They had finely chopped peppers and onions. The homemade cocktail sauce was superb. The drink list was expansive. We each had the French sauvignon blanc. Pricing is very reasonable. Service impeccable!! This will be a meal stop when in PS.

Possibly one of the best meals I've had in the US. Impeccable service, beautiful patio dining, tasty curated cocktails, and food was incredible. We started with short rib empanadas, squash blossoms, and chips and salsa. For the mains, fried sole tacos, and enmoladas. We ordered both the "Te Enamore" and "Felipe Orlando" cocktails. A dining experience not to be missed in Palm Springs! Do not miss the squash blossoms!

Squash blossoms are seriously NOT to be missed. We've eaten a lot of them over the years and these were bar none the most delicate and sumptuous blossoms served over a bed of zucchini and yellow squash with onions and amazing sauces. Second, do the margarita sampler. It is visually stunning and each drink is absolutely delicious. They have a slightly cleaner flavor in the small sampling glasses rather than the fill size earthenware glasses. We loved the cuke margarita. The sangria infusion came in a very visually stunning decanter but was nothing spectacular taste-wise. The shrimp ceviche is served on homemade corn discs with small bursts of jalapeño. It was good and topped with plenty of shrimp. The chicken enchiladas were really loaded with moist flavorful chicken and topped with sliced ripe avocado and sour cream. They were very delicious. Carne asada platter was super flavorful and a tad chewy but overall a good dish. Our server was fantastic and the dining atmosphere was very enjoyable on the outside patio. Plenty of heaters and blankets. We really enjoyed our meal.

Came here for dinner after arriving to Palm Springs . The restaurant is located in the main area where the shops and other restaurants are located. We arrived and we were able to get seated right away. It's a great dinner spot , it has plenty of seating. It is mostly seating outside but it's very nice and if it gets too cold they have some sarapes ( blankets) you can use. We started with some drinks , my husband ordered the Vicente Fernandez and I ordered the Margarita flight. My husband absolutely loved his drink , it had a subtle passion fruit taste. My margarita flight came with a mango , cucumber and strawberry and hibiscus flavored. My favorite was the mango and hibiscus ones. For started with some short rib empanadas. They were just right not too heavy or filling and very tasting. For our entree my husband ordered the Mexican Osobucco. I went with the trio ceviche stack which was fish, shrimp and octopus served with chips. Let me tell you that my husband dish was legit! The rice was nice and fluffy and the meet was tender ! The sauce on the meat was not spicy but a delicious mole sauce. My ceviche was also very tasty and fresh. Had the right amount of lemon and all the seafood was amazing. I had to ask where the food originated from and was told it that the chef was from Jalisco. No wonder the food was delicious. To finish our meal we ordered the pan de elote. Wow, that was the right decision, because it was delicious. If I am ever back in Palm Springs we will be back.

Very enjoyable experience at Clandestino! The restaurant inside is very small but the patio had a nice vibe with tons of heat lamps for cool December evening. They have nice hedges so you don't see the adjacent parking lot. Nice string lights to create a cozy vibe. Drinks were good - not amazing but very solid. My Te Enamore was considered the winner at our table. The presentation of the Sangria was super cool but a wee bit over priced. I loved the Carne Asada plate... tortillas weee fresh and steak cooked perfectly. The steak fajitas were deemed good but needed more meat - go with the Carne! You won't be disappointed with dinner here. Enjoy!

This is the just the cutest place ever. I love that all the seating is basically outside under umbrellas. It's definitely a vibe. The inside has a long beautiful bar that looks out to the patio. The staff were amazing and very nice. Everything we ordered was amazing. The oysters , the short rib empanadas , guacamole and salsa , the fish tacos . They didn't miss. I highly recommend going. My drink was very good and had me feeling even better. This restaurant is top tier.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Hip, trendy spot with margaritas and Latin American / Mexican dishes. Prices air on the high side but typical of a spot like this. Margarita Flight ($24) was strong and yummy - it was fun trying all the flavors :) They don't skip on the thick mango nectar/puree. The Guacamole, Salsa, and Chips ($15) were really delicious - they give you an entire tub of guacamole! My BF enjoyed the chicken fajitas ($30). We sat at the bar, and service was very attentive.

Dinner time in Palm Springs score the Thu night street fair led us to Clandestino, tucked away from the street near the Marilyn Monroe statue. 50/50 patio seating and bar this is a comfortable place away from the noisy action on main street. Menu is typical for the area with their twists on classic Mexican fare. The Cadillac was made from fresh lime and not syrups and the taste was spot on. My wife had a La Dama and it was different but in a good way. The fish tacos (sole) were ok. Fry was perfect, portions ok, but it needed something like a sauce or dressing to make it pop. The rave here is the home made tortillas. It makes the difference in any taco. My wife's beef short rib was good with solid Mexican flavoring simmered into it. The dessert, churro sandwich, was good as well. It was a good finish to dinner. So if the food was meh, why the 5 stars? Because the service was in point. Our server Shawn was attentive, welcoming, informative and helpful. If you follow me you know that service makes the dining experience and can forgive many sins in the kitchen. Shawn was on it. 5 stars for Shawn! Good enough that I'll be back when I'm in the area.
